The Mosheim Mansion features a main ballroom, fully renovated kitchen, private green room, custom bar, three distinct parlour spaces divided by original pocket doors, two dazzling Ready Rooms, and five indoor guest restrooms.

The Mosheim estate was built on Seguin’s historic main street in 1898. With original hardwood detailing, exposed brick, and custom chandeliers in every main room, the space provides an elegant backdrop that will surely charm guests for years to come.
While the mansion inspires visions of the past, it’s main street location is buzzing with adventure and fun! The Mosheim neighbors the local library, art galleries, breweries, coffee shops, cafés, bars, and restaurants. And, while the ground floor of the estate is expertly designed to host weddings, corporate events, showers, and parties, the second floor of the mansion features stunning accommodations and wrap around verandas overlooking the best Seguin has to offer!

Owner of the Mosheim Mansion, Patricia Garcia Saucedo, was born and raised in Seguin, TX. Inspired by her parent’s legacy immigrating to a new country, growing and raising a beautiful family in this small but mighty Texas town, and opening Seguin’s first bilingual health clinic, Patricia too invested in the vibrancy and future of Seguin by leading a full renovation and re-imagination of the Mosheim Mansion.
The doors re-opened in January 2024 for the first time since the catastrophic fire of April 2021, revealing a bright fresh take on a vintage classic. The Saucedo family is eager to welcome guests to this contemporary historic marker—a perfect home base for exploring the plains, rivers, and treasures of South Central Texas.

The Mosheim Mansion is located at 409 N. Austin Street in the heart of downtown Seguin. With coffee shops, breweries, bookstores, shops and restaurants just steps from our front door, guests have a front row seat to this charming Texas town. On the weekends, our next door neighbors at the Austin Street Market see local vendors and farmers selling local fares–making it a perfect Saturday morning for the whole family.
If a dip in one of Texas’ 15 major rivers is what you seek, this bed-and-breakfast is just two short miles from Max Starcke Park (Guadalupe River), thirty minutes from New Braunfels (Comal River), and twenty miles from the River Trail Park (San Marcos River). Whatever the occasion, the Mosheim provides a bespoke getaway for the ideal Texas vacation.
